short(ish) history: Kate (don't call her Katerina) has always led a privileged life. The family coffers run deep and their connections are numerous and impressive - unless of course you are Kate. Since she was twelve Kate has been drawn to those who have not been born into the same opulent life she has known. Having recently completed her own education it is her desire to educate the women of lower London. Kate believes that an education is all someone needs to rise above their circumstances. It is this belief that drives her, and Kate is very passionate about this. Her family, however, hope and pray that this is nothing more than a passing phase that Kate will grow out of once she finds a suitable match. Unbeknownst to her they are actively seeking out someone to fill this role.
calling for: Anyone and anything. Kate is apt to have connections within the upper and lower social echelons. I'm open to any and all suggestions.

mel mel mel!! another fantastic character yayaya! anyways her and helen have a, sort of, special connection. ok so, they're very educated and come from two different spheres of life and both naturally are discontent with where they are. helen's kind of selfish and very one track minded but i have in mind for her to become.... an advocate isn't the right word, but very education minded, especially for women and children ya know?--and partly especially with music--maybe--but that's all in the background right now BUT they should definitely hook up on that aspect. as of now, like i said she's pretty determined to just leave england and go to india but i think kate can help fuel the desire to stay and do good here, ya know? but they would i'm sure revel in each other's independence and i can imagine entertain each other :))

Aw, thanks! I love your idea. I think Kate and Helen could become really good friends.
